Exemption Statement

The treatment and recovery services at the House Where Jesus Shines are exclusively religious in nature and are not subject to licensure or regulation by the Texas Commission on Alcohol and Drug Abuse.

This program offers only non-medical treatment and recovery methods, such as prayer, moral guidance, spiritual counseling, and scriptural study.

VISION

Our vision is to provide a spiritually, emotionally and physically safe environment for each man to reach his full potential. Men are assisted in finding gainful employment to suit his qualifications and are further equipped through practical life skills training.

Our desire is to restore a man’s dignity, mend his self-esteem and help renew his mind to recognize and respect necessary boundaries, and become a productive citizen who is an assets to his community.

Men's Residential Reentry Program

We are a Christian faith based residential after-care facility designed for men being released from incarceration.

We accept applications from men who are not sex offenders.

Our goal is to reintegrate men successfully and productively into society.

After reviewing, this information, if you are still interested in applying for residency at the House Where Jesus Shines, complete Application for Residency online or print out and return to:
